1. What happens if I no longer do business with a particular customer?
If you no longer do business with a particular customer then you can select the disconnect option from tree view of the company by right clicking on the name of the company whom you want to disconnect.
2. How can I create a new ledger?
You cannot create ledger account through AccXchange. You can only view your ledger closing balance. If you want to create a new ledger then you have to connect that company through
AccXchange and once you connect, and then you can see new connections are listed into AccXchange.
Now whenever you post an entry, if received before creating a ledger account of that new connection in Tally, then AccXchange will create that ledge account automatically.
1. Is internet required for AccXchange to work?
Yes Internet is required AccXchange to work. However it exchanges all vouchers and invoices whenever you are connected to net. If your users are using AccXchange Mobile App and then the relevant Tally Company should open for certain mobile functionality and it should be connected to net.
2. Is there any special permission required by AccXchange to work properly?
AccXchange works only on port 9898, so please make sure that port 9898 is open and is not being used by any other application. If any other application is using port 9898 please contact your IT support guy and ask them to run that application on any other port than 9898.
3. What is the function of Ledger AccountTab?
Ledger Account Tab will show the Ledger balances of your debtors & creditors in Tally.
4. What is the function of Sent Items Tab?
Sent items show all the voucher whether is it Payment Voucher or Sales Voucher that you have sent in that particular session.
5. What is the meaning of colours in sent item tab?
If the colour is green then the voucher is sent and is received by the receiver, if the colour is Orange then the voucher is sent but has not yet been received by the receiver and if the colour is Red then the voucher is yet not been sent.
6. What is the meaning of colours in connected companies tree view?
Blue colour appears when you receive a new voucher in inbox, Green colour appears when you receive a new connection request and Maroon colours appear when you receive a new message from your connected company.
10. Is it necessary that the Name of a Company in Tally and in AccXchange should be same?
You have to select the company which you want to connect from drop down list, Click on test to automatically to fetch the company details directly from the tally, then Enter your AccXchange id to complete the registration of the company.
11. How can AccXchange abort repeating of the same task?
If a task is being repeated continuously then close the AccXchange and restart it again then the repetition of task will be stopped.
12. If I already have Tally then why I should I use AccXchange?
AccXchange does not eliminate the usage and functions of Tally but it enhances it. AccXchange can help you in saving time as data is already fed into one end and there is no need to feed into other end. AccXchange improves accuracy of business transactions and shorten the business cycle as transactions are recorded at both ends in short time.
13. If I am not Tally user then how I will connect with AccXchange?
AccXchange also works on the ODBC platform through which any developer can connect any accounting application to AccXchange. We will also be providing API so that any accounting application can be integrated with AccXchange.
14. Is it possible that we can invite same company that is already added into AccXchange?
No you cannot invite same company that is already in AccXchange; Since a Company is already in AccXchange there
is no need to invite it again.
15. What happens if the internet connection is slow?
AccXchange works in slowest of connection as there are only few kilobytes of data is to be
Sent.
16. What are the system requirements for installation of AccXchange?
The basic system requirements of AccXchange are;
